The essence of Dojo Designed Photography is best described by the Japanese symbol known as the torii. A torii is a traditional Japanese gate most commonly found at the entrance of or within a Shinto shrine, where it symbolically marks the transition from the mundane to the sacred.  It marks the entrance to a sacred space. Dojo Designed Photography is the safe and sacred space that allows you to express yourself fully and allows me to creatively and artfully transform what might be viewed as mundane into beauty and art.
